Why Four-handed Rolfing?
Four-handed Rolfing is an "edgier" approach to a traditional Rolfing session. Extra input from a second Certified Rolfer® challenges the nervous system and aims to create balance and resilience.
Our four-handed approach is unique because we aim to establish equal tissue tone from front to back, between the two sides, between the top and the bottom halves of the body. We work at the 'layer of availability' from the more superficial layers to the deepest layer of tissue to evoke order, support, spaciousness, and efficient movement.
Whether you're wanting to improve your posture, recover from an injury, or augment personal growth, Jonathan and Julianne are available to support you in your unique journey.
How does Rolfing work?
Release Fascial Adhesions
Rolfing targets the organ of posture and movement, the intricate web of fascia, to reorganize your bodies relationship to gravity.
Repattern Around New Potential
People adapt around their limitations, perceived or real. Rolfing provides transformational possibilities around movement potential.
Regulate Nervous System Function
Rolfing is a somatic practice that helps to regulate nervous system function by creating new neural pathways and reducing pain signals.
